The Colorado Division of Real Estate requires each licensee to complete 24 hours of approved continuing education coursework within each three year licensing cycle. This 24 hour requirement includes three 4 hour versions of the Commission Update Course and 12 hours of approved elective courses. For licensees currently in a transitional licensing cycle of less than 3 years, the full 24 hour requirement remains, however, these licensees are only required to complete two 4 hour versions of the Commission Update Course.
